First off, I want to thank you for swinging by my little corner of the internet. The intention of this website is to give you some insight on Wealthy Affiliate and to inspire you on your decision to start your internet marketing dream by joining Wealthy Affiliate.

Well, let's start off by saying that I have been where you (probably) are right now... No knowledge of how internet marketing works and not knowing where to get the training on how to make money online.

I used to be a sport coach teaching kids gymnastics and trampoline - and I loved my job! But when my wife and I decided to start a family, I needed to change careers so that I can support my upcoming family.

I have to be honest and tell you that I was very scared about changing careers - but I knew it had to be done, so I began searching for alternative ways to make money from home.

Now, I had some minor web design skills as I had built the website for the sport school I was teaching at, so I thought that this skill might help me out obtaining a new career online. So, I stumbled upon a thing called Google Adsense which is a way to make money from Google off of ads that are placed on websites. Cool!

I then did a little more research and learned that to make some decent money online with Adsense, I had to build an empire of websites - but I was excited, so I gave it a try. I subscribed to a service that provided pre-written articles on various niches that could be added to website. These are called PLR articles and it cost me $97 a month for these.

With my articles in hand, I started making websites and placed the articles and the adsense ads within them. My wife was getting upset at me because all I did in my spare time was make these websites. But I assured her that this was for a good cause.


I then started to buy every internet marketing product that was placed in front of me, all promising a life of internet fame - but the reality is that all left me feeling overwhelmed and a failure again.

Now, by this time I had HEARD of Wealthy Affiliate from Travis Sego (creator of Bum Marketing Method) and even visit the Wealthy Affiliate website a couple of times, but still felt hesitant to make the commitment in fear of failure again.

But then something amazing happened...
